Seamonkey 2.46 requirements1/9/2024 ![]() ![]() ![]() Is this a know issue It is possible on (very) old hardware. All of the newer Seamonkey updates up to 2.50a1 give me the same result. Some functions still no not work correctly, because those tools have been developed for Firefox. Mozilla develover tools now are available in SeaMonkey (via ‘Tools Web development ’). A Bugzilla query shows SeaMonkey 2.46-specific RFE-Fixes. using the internal libevent, this patch is not required. Posted December 27th, 2016, 8:32 am Seamonkey 2.46 wont work on Windows XP Service Pack 3. I do not know which Firefox49 features made it into SeaMonkey 2.46. Título: SeaMonkey,2.46 para Windows Requisitos: Windows XP, Windows 11, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows 10, Windows 8. With "mozconfig" in place, it was just a matter of:Ĭorrection, further down the LFS page, it does explain about libevent 2.1.8: I had to install "autoconf2.13" DEB from the Ubuntu repo, otherwise configure doesn't work. Using the internal libevent avoids the problem. Dubbed as SeaMonkey 2.46, the new update brings quite a few improvements over its previous release. The latest update is built on Firefox 49.0 browser and comes preloaded with support for HTML5. Quirky, based on Ubuntu 16.04 DEBs, has an older libevent that does NOT want that patch - which I found out the hard way, as the LFS page doesn't explain that vital detail. 11143 SeaMonkey, an open source internet suite by Mozilla, has received a second big update before the end of 2016. Version 2.1.8 and later requires a patch, as shown on the LFS page. in retrospect, I would have chosen not to use the system pixman lib, as although it works, error messages get spitted out on stderr. They dont even seem to have posted very good release notes. ![]() It took all night, but finally got there, after a few failures.Īc_add_options -enable-application=suiteĪc_add_options -host=armv7l-unknown-linux-gnueabihfĪc_add_options -disable-parental-controlsĪc_add_options -with-default-mozilla-five-home=/usr/lib/seamonkeyĪc_add_options -enable-default-toolkit=cairo-gtk2 Unfortunately, they didnt put out a release notice (like Firefox) that screams: critical security fixes inside, update or else. I have compiled SeaMonkey 2.46 in the Raspberry Pi3, running Quirky Xerus 8.1.4. ![]()
